Wish Lists-
We know that spouses have the best of intentions; however, they might be inhibited by lack of familiarity with the process and product. That is the beauty of the list! It narrows the field, but still allows for free choice. We maintain wish lists for any customer who would like to register special gifts. Also, friends and family will know what you have been hoping for. The Wish List helps you keep track of your personal desires and we are here to help.
Gift certificates-
We offer gift certificates in any denomination. All gift certificates may be redeemed up to one year from date of issue.
Financing-
Lathrop's Gems and Fine Jewelry offers financing through G.E. Capital. Interest free, "same as cash", financing is available, with 6-, 9-, and 12-month options (length of time determined by amount of purchase).
Gift Wrapping-
It is our pleasure to expertly wrap your special purchase. This additional service is always available and free of charge.
Pearl and Bead Restringing-
Did you know pearls should be restrung every few years? We can make your necklace or bracelet look like new - graduated or multi strands are no problem for our experts. Don't neglect a pearl heirloom when it is so easy to have it restrung. Also, we can string your funky, flea market finds! We are glad to work to create the perfect style for you.
Repairs-
We provide expert, on-site repair. Our trained repair personnel will handle your needs in our in-store workshop. Whether platinum, karat gold, or silver, we can repair rings, earrings, pendants, chains, pins, bracelets, and more. Setting stones in the original setting or creating a new style can be done on the premises.

Fine jewelry is beautifully crafted to last for generations, but accidents do happen. Loss or damage to these items can be emotionally and financially devastating. Your Personal Jewelry insurance policy will repair or replace your insured jewelry if lost, stolen or damaged. It even covers "mysterious disappearance". Additionally, if you have a covered loss, Jewelers Mutual will ask that you return to us to have your jewelry repaired or replaced instead of mailing it off to someone you do not know. Any jewelry losses you experience while under the protection of Jewelers Mutual Personal Jewelry policy are separate from your existing homeowners policy. Jewelry losses you report on your homeowners policy will count towards your continued eligibility and may even impact your homeowners premium.
